Bib Lookup:
Bib Lookup is now available! If you are participating in the 5K, 10K, or One GREAT Challenge, you will need to know your bib number to pick up your race packet. One GREAT Challenge participants will see a number for the 10K only - that will be your race number for both events (and you will see that you are also confirmed for the 5K).

Parking & Shuttles:
Unfortunately we can’t tell you exactly where to park, as we won’t know ahead of time whether certain lots/garages will have capacity on race day. You can use the
ParkPGH app to see which parking garages have space available. Use these links to see all of the parking garages and lots in the corresponding area:
If you choose to park downtown, you can take a shuttle to either the 5K or 10K start lines before the race (be sure to give yourself plenty of time!):
- Shuttles will board at Gateway Plaza across from Point State Park (at the intersection of Penn Avenue and Stanwix Street)
- From 6-7:45 AM, shuttles will run only to the 5K start line
- From 7:45-9:15 AM, shuttles will run to both the 5K and 10K start lines
- Please note that the last shuttle to the 10K start line will leave downtown no later than 9:15 AM!
If you park at either start line area, you can take a shuttle back to your vehicle after the race. Shuttles will board at the intersection of Ft. Duquesne and Stanwix Street. The last shuttle will depart at noon.
If you don’t want to drive and park downtown, you can take the T to Gateway Center Station and use the race shuttles to go to the start lines!
Make sure you’re familiar with the course map so there are no surprises during your race! You’ll want to make note of the start line and finish line locations, as well as where you can expect to find fluid stations!

There is a unifying bond among people who love running that transcends social, cultural, political, and economic barriers that typically divide us. P3R takes a stand for inclusion of all individuals regardless of race, religion/religious creed, color, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ancestry or place of birth, disability, marital status, familial status or genetic information. P3R is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion and has a zero-tolerance stance regarding any form of infringement on the inclusive environment that has been created at our events. Acts of discrimination, racism, sexism or harassment toward any participant, spectator or event employee will not be tolerated by our organization and will result in the removal of responsible parties from the premises of the event.
During the registration process, all participants in the Richard S. Caliguiri City of Pittsburgh Great Race accept and agree to abide by this policy during the event.
Race Bibs and Timing Devices
At the beginning of race week, you will receive an email with your bib number - you will need to know this number to pick up your 5K, 10K, or One GREAT Challenge bib at packet pickup! Once you receive your bib, be sure to confirm all of the information on your bib is correct before you leave - if it's not, please go to the Registration Tent to have everything corrected.
You must wear your race bibs at all times on race day. Your race bib must be visible to gain entry into the start and finish areas on race day. Additionally, race bibs show that you have permission to be on the course. (AND they’re how photographers will identify you to share photos after the event!)
PARTICIPANTS SHOULD COMPLETE THE INFORMATION REQUESTED ON THE BACK OF THEIR RACE BIBS WITH EMERGENCY CONTACT AND MEDICAL INFORMATION PRIOR TO RACE DAY. THIS INFORMATION WILL HELP RACE OFFICIALS AND MEDICAL PERSONNEL IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY.
Timing Device
The Richard S. Caliguiri City of Pittsburgh Great Race uses Chronotrack B-tag timing. It is an all-weather disposable tag that is attached to your bib and transmits a unique signal to enable a computer to record the official time. In order to receive an accurate time, make sure that your bib is:
- Clearly visible on the front of the torso
- Unaltered and unmodified (do not fold or wrinkle)
- Pinned on all four corners
- Not covered by jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.
If it's your first race, you might be wondering what everything on your bib means. Here's what you need to know:
